Neighbourhood Vibe
Northwest Oakville, with Sixteen Mile Creek forming the eastern boundary. The neighbourhood came off the Town planners' desks in the mid-1990s and the farm fields gave way to housing through the early 2000s. Hilly topography, winding streets full of crescents and cul-de-sacs, traffic calming, bike lanes and sidewalks throughout — with woodlots and footpaths linking one park to the next.
02
Property Pulse
Mainly two-storey single-detached homes built at family scale, joined by townhomes, semis and some bungalows. Westmount, within West Oak Trails, is one of the newer planned pockets and runs to larger detached houses. Development began in the mid-1990s and has continued since, so the housing stock is consistently modern by Oakville standards.
03
Community Canvas
Family-oriented to its core, popular with households with school-aged children and teens. Schools are the headline draw — seven public and eight Catholic serve the area, with French Immersion, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs among them. The influx of young families is what led to Garth Webb Secondary School opening in 2012.

What You'll Love
Twenty-five parks holding seventy recreational facilities — splash pads, soccer fields, ball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts, a pool, a library and the Oakville Gymnastics Club. Well-groomed trails run through the woodlots for walking, running and cycling. Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital sits just north of Dundas at Third Line, with the 403, 407 and Bronte GO close by.
