Neighbourhood Vibe

Tucked into Oakville's east end along the Mississauga border, Clearview — also known as Sherwood Heights — is bounded by the QEW to the north, Winston Churchill Boulevard east, Ford Drive west and Cornwall Road to the south. It keeps an easygoing, almost country feel on quiet winding streets, with the Sheridan Centre close by for everyday shopping and quick access to the QEW, 403, 407 and 401.

02

Property Pulse

Once the rural farming village of Sheridan, the area was reshaped after the QEW arrived in 1937, and most of today's homes went up through the 1980s and '90s. Expect brick-exterior detached houses with four or more bedrooms, alongside semi-detached, linked homes and townhouses — generally on larger-than-average lots with attached garages and mature trees. Detached homes have recently traded around the $1.6M mark.

03

Community Canvas

A settled, family-oriented pocket where most households are raising kids or enjoying spacious homes with big yards — average family income sits near $158,000, and many residents commute into Mississauga or Toronto. Schools include James W. Hill (JK–8, English and French Immersion) and Catholic St. Luke, feeding into Oakville Trafalgar and St. Thomas Aquinas, with Wildwood and Chisholm academies nearby.

04

What You'll Love

The Iroquois Ridge Community Centre anchors recreation with a 25-metre competitive pool, leisure pool and waterslide, fitness centre, gymnasium and a public library branch. Green space is everywhere — Kingsford Gardens with its lake views, off-leash dog area and community gardens, Wynten Park's splash pad and ball diamond, and the Avonhead Ridge Trail linking it all — while Clarkson GO puts Union Station roughly an hour away.
